The ongoing feud between J.K. Rowling and Piers Morgan has come to an end, and the victor was none other than Piers Morgan's very own son, Spencer Morgan.
It all started when Morgan was told to 'fuck off' by Jim Jefferies on Real Time with Bill Maher for his support of controversial policies put forth by the increasingly unpopular Trump administration.
Which prompted Rowling to tweet this:
Yes, watching Piers Morgan being told to fuck off on live TV is *exactly* as satisfying as I'd always imagined. https://t.co/4FII8sYmIt

And Piers responding with this:
This is why I've never read a single word of Harry Potter. https://t.co/XUJBMs4KKm

As the feud took off and the world watched as Rowling repeatedly dealt Morgan the sickest of burns on Twitter, not many paid attention to the third voice in the conversation among the thousands of tweets that were directed at the two.
Well this is awkward @piersmorgan @jk_rowling pic.twitter.com/OHhkj8TWlM

Yikes. As it turns out, Piers Morgan's son is quite the Potterhead. He tweeted his tattoo and necklace of the Deathly Hallows sign, which is nowhere near as common as the lightning bolt tattoo that many have.
And he didn't stop there. As the feud between his father and one of his favorite authors raged on, Spencer tweeted a picture of him in front of Hogwarts.

Media outlets picked up on it, and Piers was finally forced to acknowledge his son's tweets in support of J.K Rowling to the masses.
Congrats, son @spencermorgan93 - you've cracked America. https://t.co/TWVdPKf8Xy

After which Spencer couldn't help himself but tweet a photo of him in front of Harry Potter And The Cursed Child, which only a very small percentage of Potter fans were able to see. This time it only took dad a few minutes to respond.
Sadly, he's a Potter fanatic. My biggest failure in 23 years of parenting. Fortunately, he's as fanatical about Arsenal so I forgive him. https://t.co/l5nnPwZ0Kc

Ouch. The next family dinner is going to be a bit more awkward than dinner would normally be with Piers. J.K. hasn't acknowledged her victory over the older Morgan that was solidified with the help of the younger, but we wouldn't be all that surprised if he woke up and found an owl at his window in the next few days.
