There are few constants in this world. However, there one truth we can count on — dogs are just too good for this world.
If, somehow, you haven't been convinced by the heartwarming Instagram videos, tales of dog heroism, or adorable adoption stories, this new development will finally open your eyes....
Twitter user Pita Ochave was visiting the state of Hachiko in Shibuya, Tokyo, when she noticed a dog POSING TO MATCH THE STATUE. IN AN EFFORT TO IMPRESS HIS OWNER.
The story behind the statue makes the whole situation that much cuter. Hachiko was referred to as "Japan's most loyal dog" because he would wait for his owner, Japanese professor Hidesaburo Ueno, every day at a train station to walk him home from work. After Ueno's death, Hachiko returned to the train station every day to wait for him — even after being adopted by a new family.
A statue commemorating Hachiko's loyalty was erected in 1934.
Naturally, she felt compelled to tweet a photo this miracle for everyone to see.

"His face would also follow his owner so he could always face the camera," she explained in a follow-up tweet.
Twitter, obviously, found the cuteness to be unbearable.

Dogs are simply too pure for this world.
Hopefully, this dog understands that he's SUCH A GOOD BOY.

As it turns out, the loyal little fluff wasn't the only animal to hang out at the statue. A cat also made an appearance — with photo documentation, of course.
