It doesn't get much better than living in the White House. OK, maybe the Bat-Cave or Buckingham Palace could give it a run for its money, but when it comes to stately and magnificent domiciles, the White House is definitely up there.
So once your term as President is up, having to move into another house probably sucks. Finding just the right one must take a lot of time, because it's not like you're going to move into any old residence after coming from down from 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.
And although the new home the Obamas selected for their post-presidential life is no match for the White House, it's still pretty damn amazing.
The home spans a whopping 8,200 square feet. Something that'd probably make Bernie Sanders clutch his heart.
The new crib is situated in the Kalorama district of Washington, D.C.
The living room is pretty gargantuan.
The kitchen looks like something out of a movie.
This is one of the bedrooms in the house.
Here's what one of the bathrooms looks like.
The pantry is pretty much a kitchen of its own, sans stove.
This is the den they'll be hanging out in.
And entertaining guests in this outdoor area will be easy as hell with all that space.
Not a bad post-White House life.
