Real talk for a second guys. I grew up really religious. Now not so much. But that doesn't mean I believe that life, at the end of the day when we finally shuffle off this mortal coil, is all we have left. I have this feeling, call it blind faith or stupidity or conditioning, but I just see the brutality and poetry of mother nature and I can't believe that this is all we have left, that this life is all that remains.
These thoughts crop up more and more in my head the more I play with my son. I don't think there's a heaven or afterlife or place where we all frolic and play after the toils of this life are over and done with, but I just want to believe that there's something.
So when I read this dude's theory about the 'afterlife' that's been blowing up on Facebook, I have to admit I started getting goosebumps.
Because it really is mind-blowing.
Granted, he was probably tripping on DMT when he wrote this and I'm an overly sensitive guy.
But I'm not the only one who's floored by his theory.
Others, however, aren't quite convinced.
I however, want to believe. I just wish I got to keep my memory in tact. Imagine how awesome it would be for a baby to come out of the womb and start talking? Crazy.
