Someone Took Scenes From 'Jersey Shore' And Reimagined Them As Famous Movies

Parody movie posters have been around much longer than the internet has been, but they were usually found tied to with propaganda or cost parents a premium when they wanted to feature their child on the cover of a nonexistent magazine on Picture Day.

Times have changed, and both the internet and reality television have provided us with many opportunities to reimagine iconic scenes (using that term loosely) from those shows as movie posters for cinematic classics.

Jersey Shore, for those of you lucky enough to not have heard of the show, was a show about a bunch of Long Islanders clogging up New Jersey's highways, beaches, and bars while being filmed. By the end of the show's 6th season, New Jersey somehow had an even worse reputation nationwide than thought possible by its residents and legislatures.

It wasn't until years after someone realized what the show was doing to us culturally (GTL...really?) and pulled the plug on the show that any good came out of the its existence.

Twitter user nemo started the best Twitter thread of the year thusfar with an informal tweet.

And followed that up with what is undeniably art of the highest order.
