As Friday gets painfully close but still taunts us from afar, there's no denying that we're all feeling that end-of-weel frustration — when we just want to kick into overdrive and get everything done so we can escape and enjoy the freedom of the weekend.
If you're just counting down the hours until work is over, you'll appreciate this video of a cashier who probably feels your pain.
18-year-old Jewel Thomas went shopping at her local Aldi over the weekend, and she was struck by just how fast her cashier was ringing everything up. So, she tweeted a video of the impressive performance.

Thomas, a cashier herself at TJ Maxx, knows exactly what's involved in the process — and this speed is noteworthy.
"It was somewhat unbelievable," she told BuzzFeed News.
This kind of thing could only mean one thing, she guessed: the end of the cashier's shift must have been coming up. That feeling anyone in customer service knows and relishes: 'about to clock out' euphoria.
"I'm a cashier myself and get the feeling of wanting to go as fast as possible to get customers in and out," Thomas explained.
Thomas' video has been over 21,000 times by highly impressed grocery shoppers... Plenty of whom were pretty jealous of this kind of expedience.
I wish all cashiers were that fast. Lines be moving slow af

Cashiers of Twitter could relate to this all too well; sometimes, you just gotta hurry up and make to to the end of the shift.
@Shirah_Buurrr I'm laughing so hard because this is literally me with my lane light off trying to hurry up so no one thinks they can come

Apparently, though, this kind of speed is pretty typical for Aldi cashiers... They're not playing around.
@oxjxxo If anyone knew Aldi they'd know this is how it's done and they have ledges at the side for you to bag up to save queuing time.

Well, we have no doubt that this particular cashier hit her items per minute quota for the day.
And we know exactly where we'll be getting our groceries from now on. No one likes waiting in line.
