Flying is a pretty stressful experience, especially when you're doing so with a family. All you want to do is get home as fast as you can, safe and sound, and hope that nothing goes off without a hitch.
I have a sneaking suspicion that Flight Attendants understand just how annoying flying can be. With the constant delays, cramped seating, food that's usually inedible and high cost of travel, most attendants I've ever come in contact with are exceedingly polite and go out of their way to help me and the people I'm traveling with.
So I'd imagine you'd have to be a special kind of rude individual to get on their bad side.
Like this guy, who was reportedly spewing homophobic and sexist slurs at people on the plane when a flight attendant approached him.

The plane was traveling from Sydney Australia to San Francisco, but the dude never made it to his destination because the flight was diverted to Auckland, New Zealand, where the rowdy passenger was taken into police custody.
What's crazy is that the attendant warns him that the flight will be diverted unless he calms down, and you can see the moment he decides to let his pride win.
Thankfully passenger Neil Kay kept the cameras rolling to see the dude's face after he was booted from the aircraft.
Yes dude, hate to break it to you, but if you're loud and obnoxious on an airplane, the crew's not taking any chances.
