It's Black Friday again and while scenes of collective hysteria in stores seem to be a thing of the past, there has been a surge in online sales in the UK.
People appear to be making the most of bargain prices that were agreed before the EU referendum and subsequent slump in the the value of the pound.
According to retailers, shoppers are deserting the high street as they increasingly hunt for deals online.
John Rogers, Argo's CEO, told BBC Radio 4's Today programme there had been half a million visits to the retailer's website in the early hours of this morning, up 50% on last year. Read more...
